Hi! We are Dave and Diana, the husband and wife team behind this blog, which details our travels and food adventures. It started because we wanted to forever remember all of the details and the good times we have when we get out of town- and more importantly, to share our experiences with you.

We currently reside in New York City, and we’re always looking for the next chance to escape and satiate our wanderlust.

Dave is originally from London, UK and Diana is from New York City. We met as work colleagues in the same company when we lived in Tokyo, Japan (Dave for 2.5years, Diana for 5). Different circumstances brought us to New York, and we both shared a love for food. So much that from 2016-2018 we opened an okonomiyaki fusion food stall within the Essex Street Market in the Lower East Side neighborhood in Manhattan.
