Llama San just opened yesterday – we felt that almost all their dishes were exceptional. This is a very well thought take on Peruvian-Japanese Nikkei cuisine.

Among the small strip of Thai restaurants that are on Woodside avenue along 76-77th streets in Jackson Heights Queens, Hug Esan is a very unassuming little spot that is fantastic

I love pasta, and a good Italian restaurant is hard to come by in NYC, believe it or not. It’s still hot enough that its super difficult to get a reservation on Resy. A couple of weeks ago, some friends of ours scored one and we couldn’t be more excited. The head chef, Stefano Secchi, is from Modena, Emilia Romagna, and Rezdora serves up traditional Modenese cooking – lots of handmade pasta, and rustic ragus
NYC Restaurant Week is back, from July 22 – August 16! With so many delicious offerings to sift through, it might be impossible to make a decision. So here’s a shortlist (I tried to keep it short but that was difficult) of the places that look like the menu has special or decadent items that give you the best bang for your buck on your $26/lunch or $42/dinner (before taxes).
